100% of the event’s net proceeds will be donated to The Ottawa Cancer Foundation.
We visited The Ottawa Cancer Foundation’s Community Cancer Hub to see where support begins and learn how the Foundation helps people affected by cancer in our community.
What the Foundation provides
The Ottawa Cancer Foundation provides free community-based support for people living with cancer, as well as their families and caregivers.
Its programs and services include:
Personalized guidance from Cancer System Navigators
Mental-health resources and counselling
Nutrition programs and workshops
Exercise and movement programs
Social connection and peer-support groups
Support for families and caregivers

Hybrid Heart was created in memory of Carole Rocheleau.
By bringing Ottawa’s athletic communities together, we have an opportunity to honour Carole’s memory while helping people affected by cancer access support, connection and care close to home.
